Founded by Dr. Sohail Khattak, an expert in developmental and behavioural paediatrics, our mission has always been medically-informed care. ABA Kids is the natural evolution of that commitment. We have expanded our footprint to provide a state-of-the-art environment where medical expertise meets Applied Behaviour Analysis. By integrating the clinical leadership of Dr. Alan Eng (Registered Psychologist) and collaborating with the Speech Therapy Centres of Canada, we offer a seamless multidisciplinary approach under the medical oversight you already trust.
Dr. Sohail Khattak

Founder & Medical Director
Dr. Sohail Khattak founded KidsClinic over 15 years ago with a mission to provide medically-informed developmental care to families across the Durham Region. As a Paediatrician and Clinical Pharmacologist, Dr. Khattak brings a unique perspective to ABA therapy—integrating genetic insights and pharmacogenomics to create truly personalized treatment plans. His expertise in developmental and behavioural paediatrics forms the medical foundation of the ABA Kids Circle of Care model.
Dr. Allan Eng
CPSYCH
Psychology Lead
Dr. Alan Eng leads psychological and diagnostic assessments at ABA Kids. His comprehensive evaluations establish the cognitive and academic baselines that inform each child's individualized ABA program. Dr. Eng works closely with our medical and behavioural teams to ensure assessment findings translate directly into therapeutic goals.
Jihye (Sofia) Chung
M.ED - SPED ABA
ABA Team Lead & Supervised Senior Therapist
Sofia (she/her) is a trilingual (English, French and Korean) Supervised Senior Therapist with Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) Level 3 certification and PEERS certification. She is a Senior Therapist for the ABA team and works with children and youth between the ages of 2-18 years who have various learning needs. She completed her Masters Degree at Augustana University, U.S. in Special Education – ABA, and working towards obtaining her Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) designation. Her previous experience in implementing Naturalistic Environment Teaching (NET), led to her PRT certification, which highlights the use of a child’s motivation to increase functional and desired behaviours. Sofia also has previous experience implementing social skills groups, life skills programs and Discrete-trial treatment (DTT). Sofia believes that ABA should be personalized to each individual to help sessions remain enjoyable and effective! She is known to be passionate about providing parent coaching sessions so the parents can implement the same strategies at home.
Salimah Halani
M.ADS, BCBA, R.B.A. (ONT.)
Clinical Director- ABA Services
Salimah is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst® (BCBA®) and a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A.) in Ontario with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Salimah holds a Master of Applied Disability Studies (M.ADS) with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from Brock University, and a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology from York University. She is also trained in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). Salimah has been working in the field of developmental disabilities since 2008. She has extensive clinical experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, and other exceptionalities in a variety of settings. Focused on enhancing the quality of life of individuals with developmental disability and their families, Salimah is committed to providing effective and individualized evidence-based services to address challenging behaviour and support skill development. She works in collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals for a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment. As a clinician, Salimah enjoys working closely with parents in developing therapy goals and believes in the benefits of consistency across all environments to bring meaningful change. Salimah is an Ontario Autism Program (OAP) approved Clinical Supervisor and a member of the Ontario Association of Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA). Outside of work, Salimah enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
Valance Bartholomeusz
Supervised Lead Therapist
Valance (he/him) successfully completed his undergraduate studies, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology with counselling skills from Middlesex University Dubai. Throughout his academic journey, he gained comprehensive knowledge and skills that equipped him to engage in the field of psychology with a particular focus on counselling. Drawing upon his academic foundation and practical experiences, he utilizes the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to promote socially significant behaviours in individuals. Valance’s professional journey has been marked by a commitment to working with children who have special and diverse needs. His work with children with special needs is grounded in a deep understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). More specifically, Valance is passionate about helping youth manage challenging behaviours, develop essential social skills, enhance language proficiency, and increase preparedness for successful integration into educational settings. Furthermore, Valance’s work extends beyond mere intervention; he is committed to empowering both children and their families to achieve positive outcomes. Recognizing the vital role that family support plays in a child’s journey, he collaborates closely with parents and caregivers, providing them with the necessary tools and strategies to reinforce positive behaviors and facilitate continued progress outside of formal therapy sessions. Outside of work, Valance enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking, connecting with nature, and playing sports such as rugby. He also highly values time spent with his family, which keeps him grounded and inspired.
Tanvi Pinnamneni
Supervised Instructor Therapist
Tanvi (She/Her) is a Supervised ABA Therapist having a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from India. She brings over 10 years of hands-on experience working with children and families. She specializes in supporting children with autism and other developmental needs, with a strong focus on early childhood development and individualized care. With a strong foundation in developmental psychology, Tanvi integrates ABA principles with an understanding of cognitive, emotional, and social development. Her prior experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist and conducting clinical assessments allows her to approach intervention in a way that is structured yet compassionate, prioritizing the child’s overall well-being while promoting meaningful and measurable progress. She places strong emphasis on collaboration with caregivers, believing that collaboration and consistency are key to meaningful progress. She is passionate about helping children reach their potential while supporting families every step of the way with compassion, patience, and care. Tanvi is deeply interested in supporting individuals with autism and hopes to pursue her journey toward becoming a Registered Behaviour Analyst. Outside of her professional interests, Tanvi loves listening to music, doodling, colouring, and spending time with family and friends.
Alysha Nanji
Supervised Instructor Therapist
Alysha (she/her) is a Bilingual (English and French) Supervised Instructor Therapist. She graduated with honours while earning a diploma in the Social Service Worker program from Durham College, but it was during a co-operative placement position where she found her passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other exceptionalities. With just over 4 years of experience in the field, Alysha brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her work. When Alysha first started out in this field, she stumbled across the quote “if they can’t learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn”. Since then, she has made it a point to incorporate that saying within her work. She believes adaptability is the best way to describe her working style. Alysha strives to create a positive relationship between the children she works with and their session goals. Additionally, one of her main goals while working in this field is to never stop learning. The world of ABA is constantly evolving, and Alysha values keeping up to date with her education and certifications to succeed in the field and provide the best services to the children she works with. In her free time, Alysha enjoys quality time with family and friends, cooking and hanging out with her dog!
Sudan Antony
Supervised Instructor Therapist
Sudan (He/Him) is a dedicated and compassionate Trilingual Supervised Instructor Therapist, who is originally from Montreal and fluent in English, French, and Tamil. After relocating, Sudan pursued his post‑secondary education at York University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, laying a strong foundation in human development, learning, and behaviour. He then completed a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science at Durham College, further strengthening his expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Since 2021, Sudan has been working directly with children with diverse developmental, behavioural, and learning needs. In total, he has accumulated over five years of experience in the ABA field. His career began in Group Homes, where he provided life‑skills training, promoted independence, and helped enhance overall quality of life for the clients he served. These early experiences shaped his empathetic and client‑centred approach, emphasizing dignity, respect, and person‑centred care. In his current work, Sudan is particularly passionate about using positive reinforcement, naturalistic teaching strategies, and play‑based learning to shape meaningful behaviours and support long‑term skill development in children. He has applied behavioural strategies to strengthen communication, social engagement, self‑regulation, and independence. Sudan also has experience implementing programs focused on improving social skills, such as turn‑taking, cooperative play, perspective‑taking, and peer interaction. Committed to advancing professionally in the field, Sudan plans to pursue his Master’s Degree with the goal of becoming a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA). He has already completed the 40‑hour Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) training. Outside of his professional life, Sudan enjoys following Formula 1,watching soccer, and spending quality time with his family. His interests help him stay grounded, balanced, and energized.
Dhona Miguel
Supervised Instructor Therapist
Dhona (she/her) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Trent University and a graduate certificate in Autism and Behaviour Science from George Brown College. Her academic background has equipped her with a strong understanding of human behaviour, developmental psychology, and evidence‑based intervention strategies.During her field placement and her volunteer work in a daycare setting, Dhona discovered a deep passion for working with children. These early experiences highlighted her enthusiasm for supporting children’s growth, fostering meaningful connections, and creating environments where they can learn, explore, and thrive. For more than three years, she has continued to develop her expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) through hands‑on clinical and educational experiences. Dhona is dedicated to using evidence‑based approaches to support children’s development, learning, and social‑emotional well‑being. Her commitment to child‑centered, inclusive, and supportive practice has allowed her to strengthen her clinical skills and deepen her understanding of the diverse needs of the children she serves. Outside of her professional interests, Dhona enjoys listening to music, spending time outdoors, and engaging in activities that allow her to relax, recharge, and stay inspired.
Eva Sajanth
Supervised Instructor Therapist
Eva Sajanth is a dedicated Supervised Instructor Therapist with a strong academic foundation and extensive hands-on experience supporting children of diverse abilities. She holds an ECE Honours credential from and a Resource Teacher Certification and is currently enrolled in Disability Studies and the Child Development Program, to further strengthening her expertise in inclusive and developmentally responsive practices. Through her work in a variety of child care and educational settings, Eva was introduced to supporting children with special needs—an experience that ignited her passion and long-term commitment to helping children with diverse abilities lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. Her professional background includes roles as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE), Enhanced Program Support Worker, Resource Consultant (under supervision), and Supervised Instructor Therapist, allowing her to support children across a broad range of developmental, behavioural, and learning needs. Eva has completed training in the Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) field and brings practical experience applying ABA principles within educational and therapeutic environments. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practice while remaining compassionate, child-centred, and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on partnering with families and multidisciplinary teams.Eva believes that every child possesses unique strengths and deserves the opportunity to flourish in their own space. Eva considers it a privilege to walk alongside children and families, supporting growth, independence, and inclusion with care, respect, and professionalism. Outside of her professional work, Eva enjoys spending quality time with her family, playing the piano, and exploring new experiences.
